Oman, Brunei Darussalam Mark 40 Years Of Diplomatic Relations

Muscat: A reception took place in Muscat yesterday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Brunei Darussalam, attended by Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at Brunei's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The event, hosted at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel, also saw the participation of Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, the Minister of Information, along with various officials, ASEAN ambassadors, and representatives from Brunei.

In her address, Noralizan Abdul Momin, the Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Oman, emphasized the strong ties between the two nations across multiple sectors.

She underscored the mutual commitment to enhancing these relations, particularly in education, culture, investment, energy, and other areas.

The ceremony featured the unveiling of a commemorative logo that represents the robust diplomatic ties between Oman and Brunei Darussalam.

This logo draws inspiration from the flags of both nations and incorporates the number 40, symbolizing the four decades of diplomatic relations.
