MUSCAT: Oman Air has officially joined the oneworld® alliance as the 15th member airline, providing significant new benefits for its guests and enhancing Oman’s position on the global map. Following an extensive more than two-year integration process, Oman Air now joins oneworld's global network of leading airlines, providing seamless travel to over 900 locations in 170 nations and territories.

As a fully oneworld member airline, Oman Air's top tier guests will have access to all oneworld priority benefits, including a network of nearly 700 global Business lounges, as well as newly opened oneworld branded lounges in Amsterdam Schiphol and Seoul Incheon Airports. Similarly, Oman Air will offer oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby patrons a complete range of oneworld perks, such as earning and redeeming miles, accumulating status points, priority check-in and boarding, and lounge access.

Oman Air's membership in the alliance considerably improves global access to the Sultanate, bringing the world closer to Oman. With seamless connection via the airline's 15 worldclass member airlines, travellers from important markets such as the United States, Japan, and Australia may now enjoy smoother, more convenient trips to Oman.

“Oman Air is honoured to join the oneworld alliance, whose members and global footprint represent the best of what international travellers want to experience,” said Oman Air CEO Con Korfiatis. “We are thrilled to be able to welcome oneworld customers to the Sultanate of Oman to experience our unique culture, stunning mountain excursions, beautiful beaches, and, above all, the warm hospitality of the Omani people, as well as to expand opportunities for seamless global travel for guests in Oman. ”

"We are proud to welcome Oman Air to the oneworld family," said Nat Pieper, CEO of oneworld. Oman Air adds significant strategic reach, as well as its award-winning products and services, to the alliance. This collaboration provides intriguing new connections for our clients, especially in the Gulf and South Asia, and strengthens oneworld's position as the leading alliance for international travellers.

The announcement comes as Oman Air continues to grow its network, which includes a nonstop Muscat–Amsterdam route from 1 July 2025 and an increased double daily Muscat-London service beginning in October. Oman Air now serves 42 locations in 22 nations, with onward connections to hundreds more via the oneworld alliance.
