Salalah: According to the Oman Housing Bank (OAB), the total worth of housing loans issued in Dhofar Governorate since the branch's inception has topped OMR151 million, distributed among 7,620 housing loans throughout several wilayats.
Musa Masoud Al Jadidi, CEO of Oman Housing Bank, said that housing loans in the governorate increased by 4% in 2024, with the bank approving 112 housing loans worth more than OMR5 million.
He stated that these excellent outcomes demonstrate the bank's ongoing development function in addressing and meeting citizens' housing needs.
According to Al Jadidi, the bank has cleared all waiting lists for individuals who applied for house loans in Dhofar Governorate by distributing approved applications. The bank has also started expediting the procedure for inhabitants in other governorates, which helps to boost family stability and enable them to purchase appropriate houses.
This is part of the bank's goal of offering contemporary and effective housing solutions that will contribute to Oman Vision 2040's goal of enhancing citizens' quality of life.
