Sohar: On Wednesday, the North Al Batinah Municipal Council met to review numerous service requests and proposals intended at enhancing infrastructure and expanding services throughout the governorate.
The meeting, chaired by Mohammed Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah and Chairman of the Council, discussed important issues such as a proposal to build a box culvert tunnel on the Al Batinah Coastal Road in Asrar Bani Amr, Wilayat of Shinas, and a request for maintenance of the (Al Breek - Halhal) road in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah.
The council also looked at replies from pertinent government organizations, as well as a visual presentation of the labour sector's performance statistics in the governorate (January-May 2024), which was prepared by specialists from the Directorate General of Labour in North Al Batinah.
