Muscat: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) has officially introduced a new platform named “Rabt” (connectivity) to strengthen its collaboration with the Secretariat General of the Tender Board.
The launch event took place under the patronage of Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.
This platform is designed to improve the synergy between government entities and the private sector, aiming to optimize the results of localized industries by connecting them with government tenders and procurement opportunities. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the competitiveness of local products and services within domestic markets.
Rabt features over 5,000 industrial products and services from more than 300 factories and companies based in Madayn's industrial cities, offering a robust database to facilitate government procurement processes.
During the event, outsourcing agreements were also signed between contractors awarded local tenders and local suppliers, marking a significant advancement for the national economy.
