Kohli's performance in Chennai was less than stellar, managing only 6 and 17 runs in the two innings. He was dismissed by both Hasan Mahmud and spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
In the first Test against Bangladesh, Ashwin was awarded the 'Player of the Match' title. He delivered a crucial 113-run innings from 133 deliveries in the first match.
Ashwin's performance in the second match was equally commendable, as he achieved a six-wicket haul, contributing significantly to India's victory on the fourth day of the Chennai Test.
This achievement marks Ashwin's 37th five-wicket haul in Test cricket, placing him in a tie with the illustrious Australian spinner Shane Warne for the second-highest number of five-wicket hauls in Test history.
