Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has declared that Thursday, January 30, 2025, will be recognized as an official holiday for employees within the State’s Administrative Apparatus, other legal entities, and private sector establishments, in celebration of the blessed anniversary of Al Isra'a Wal Miraj.
The Ministry also noted that employers have the option to negotiate terms for engaging employees on this date, if necessary, ensuring that workers are compensated for their holiday.
