Muscat: The Ministry of Information will inaugurate its new theatre on Tuesday, as part of its initiative to promote the arts and innovation while emphasizing the media's role in showcasing culture and ideas through advanced technology.
This theatre is designed to serve as a central venue for artistic and theatrical performances, playing a significant role in the development of cultural and media activities within the Sultanate of Oman.
Spanning 560 square meters and accommodating up to 500 guests, the theatre is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to ensure that events are presented in the most effective way. It features a 150-square-meter stage, specialized rooms for commentary and translation, as well as advanced control and external broadcasting facilities.
The opening ceremony will feature visual displays, musical acts, and performances of national and Arab operettas.
