Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will oversee the Royal Horse Race Festival, scheduled to take place at the Al Adiyat horse racing track in the Wilayat of A'Seeb on Tuesday.
The event will feature five races dedicated to pure Arabian horses, with the fifth race being particularly significant as jockeys vie for the prestigious Horse Race Cup awarded by His Majesty the Sultan.
In addition to the races, there will be equestrian displays and demonstrations of skills, alongside performances of Omani folklore arts and a variety of musical selections interspersed throughout the event.
The Royal Camel Corps will also participate in the festival.
