GCC Conference On Human Resources Productivity Opens In Salalah

Salalah: The 14th GCC Conference for the Development of Human Resources Productivity began today at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Compound for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, under the patronage of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar.

The two-day conference will focus on four major topics: the link between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence in boosting productivity, the influence of emotional intelligence on occupational health and safety, the use of technology to improve performance, and emotional intelligence as a tool for effective leadership.

The first day's schedule featured talks on the function of emotional intelligence today and in the future, as well as methods to foster an emotionally intelligent work culture. It also included a debate on the experiences of institutions, as well as interactive workshops on the application of emotional intelligence in motivation, feedback, and team performance.

The conference will continue on its second day with specialized sessions on the interaction between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence, effective leadership, measuring productivity and ways to improve it, as well as interactive workshops and conversations with prominent human resources development experts.

Al Asayel Conferences is organizing the event in conjunction with the Ministry of Labour, the Dhofar Governor's Office, and the Dhofar branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It attempts to raise awareness about the significance of emotional intelligence in workplace settings, provide practical solutions for improving performance, and create a forum for sharing regional and global experiences and knowledge.
