Muscat: Muscat International Airport has successfully completed an extensive security drill named "Full Scale Shield 2024." This exercise saw the involvement of military and security personnel, as well as various administrative units, in collaboration with Oman Airports.
The primary objective of the drill was to evaluate the preparedness and response capabilities across different sectors, improve coordination and collaboration among all parties involved, and enhance national strategies for managing exceptional and emergency situations in civil aviation. By replicating realistic scenarios and challenges, the exercise sought to bolster security protocols and guarantee the safety of airport operations.
