Muscat: The Ministry of Labor has cautioned people and businesses against providing fraudulent Professional Classification and Licensing Certificates, emphasizing that such offenses will result in legal liability and consequences.
The Ministry stated that it has discovered numerous instances of fraudulent certificates and emphasized that only licenses granted by authorized Sector Skills Units, which are licensed by the Ministry, are legitimate. Any license or classification acquired through assessment centers or training facilities that are not authorized will be considered invalid.
According to the Ministry, these establishments will be subject to greater monitoring, and any transgressions will have legal repercussions.
It stressed that professional categorization and licensing are not merely formalities but are necessary to promote work quality and efficiency, foster employer and client trust, safeguard professions against unqualified practices, and improve employment prospects both domestically and abroad.
