Muscat: Today, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, welcomed Saqr Ghobash, the Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr emphasized the strong and historic ties that exist between Oman and the UAE, highlighting that these relations are founded on close collaboration and mutual coordination in various sectors.
The two leaders discussed strategies to further enhance the partnership between their nations, stressing the significance of sharing legislative expertise to foster integration and improve bilateral cooperation. They also exchanged perspectives on a range of regional and international matters of mutual concern.
The visiting official praised Oman's contributions to advancing peace efforts both regionally and globally. He reiterated the UAE's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Oman in alignment with their common goals.
The meeting was attended by several officials from both countries.
