Football Star Lamine Yamal's Father Reportedly Stabbed

Mounir Nasraoui, the esteemed father of the prodigious teenage football talent, Lamine Yamal, was the victim of a stabbing incident late Wednesday, as reported by multiple Spanish media sources.

La Vanguardia, a prominent Spanish newspaper, has confirmed that Mr. Nasraoui is currently in a critical but stable condition.

The investigation into the crime has been led by the Catalan police, who have yet to make any public statements regarding the matter.

The incident occurred in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataro, approximately 30 kilometers north of Barcelona, the city where Yamal has spent his formative years and where his father and grandmother reside.

Eyewitnesses, as reported by La Vanguardia, described the scene where Yamal's father was ambushed by a group of individuals while walking his dog. A dispute escalated into a stabbing, leading to his immediate hospitalization at the Can Ruti hospital.

Lamine Yamal, at the tender age of 16, made history earlier this year by becoming the youngest player to ever participate in the European Championship.

His achievements include being the youngest player to represent Barcelona and Spain, as well as the youngest goal scorer in the history of La Liga, the Spanish Cup, and his national team.

At the age of 17, Yamal scored against France in the semi-finals of the Euros, leading his team to a victory over England in the final.
