Muscat: The Environment Authority's special unit has completed the second round of the Sooty Falcon Survey 2025, which was carried out on islands in the governorates. of Muscat and South Al Batinah.

The census was part of national activities aimed at conserving migratory bird species and preserving the Sultanate of Oman's ecological equilibrium.

The tasks of the survey's second part concentrated on complete coverage of the birds' breeding places, monitoring their average number of eggs, and Chicks are located and their precise geographic coordinates are determined using the most modern techniques and advanced equipment to create visual and audio documentation in accordance with With a specific strategy of action.

The Environment Authority's crew worked in accordance with an integrated field plan.
