Sohar: The North Al Batinah branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) convened a meeting aimed at tackling the difficulties associated with attracting and hiring local talent, with the attendance of Khalid Salim Al Ghamari, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Labour Affairs.
During today's session, various representatives and business owners from factories and companies in the governorate discussed their views on Omanization and replacement strategies, as well as suggestions for improving the efficiency of these strategies across different economic sectors.
The dialogue also emphasized the importance of enhancing collaborations between the public and private sectors to foster a productive work environment that can effectively and sustainably incorporate the national workforce.
Present at the meeting were Mohammed Sulaiman Al Kindi, the Governor of North Al Batinah, along with numerous officials from both government and private organizations within the governorate.
