The Indian School Nizwa (ISN) presented a remarkable talent from one of their students, Master Adil Meera Thaheemsha, who possesses an exceptional memory, on the evening of Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Adil, a seven-year-old second-grade student, has the extraordinary ability to remember the days of the dates from the years 2022, 2023, and 2024 in just 4 to 7 seconds each.
The event was led by the Principal, Mr. Santha Kumar Dasari, and the Vice-principal, Mr. Biju Mathew, who welcomed distinguished guests such as Dr. S. Arockiasamy from the University of Nizwa, Mr. Mohamed Wahid Sheriff from the Ministry of Health as a Physiotherapist, Dr. Valliappan from UTAS as a Professor, Mr. S. Mohamed Nazir from MWP-Nizwa, and other esteemed guests. They also expressed gratitude to Dr. Zunaith Ahmed, President of SMC, and its members for allowing such an event at ISN.
Adil impressively answered more than fifty questions posed by Mr. Biju Mathew, recalling over fifteen days of dates effortlessly.
Adil's father, Mr. Thahirsha, shared that Adil developed this talent by memorizing dates from family calendars with birthdays of loved ones. Adil's interest in the dates and days grew naturally, without the use of any tricks or mnemonic devices.
To commemorate Adil's exceptional talent, the event was organized by Mr. Thiruselvam and hosted by Mrs. Hema Manoj, teachers at the Indian School, Nizwa.
The guests in attendance applauded and wished Adil success in his future endeavors.
