An oil spill on a beach in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, was reported to the Environment Authority. The Authority then began field surveys of the impacted regions to prepare for cleanup efforts in collaboration with the appropriate authorities.
According to a statement released by the Authority, it is collaborating closely with the appropriate agencies to finish the verification procedures for the origin of this oil and take the necessary environmental and regulatory actions in this regard.
