Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has alerted the public about the risks associated with cosmetic procedures, advising individuals to refrain from using unlicensed facilities.
In a statement, the CPA emphasized, "Consumers are urged to be vigilant and cautious when seeking cosmetic services, which should only be conducted at establishments that are licensed and sanctioned by the appropriate authorities."
The statement further noted, "As consumer protection is a collective responsibility, the authority encourages individuals to report any unlicensed venues, including apartments and houses, through the channels provided by the authority."
