Muscat: On Monday, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, welcomed Dr. Mohamed Maliki Osman, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Second Minister for Education of the Republic of Singapore, along with his delegation.
This meeting was held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Oman and Singapore.
During their discussions, both parties examined potential areas for collaboration across various sectors.
Additionally, the Singaporean delegation emphasized their nation's significant expertise in enhancing the business environment, which plays a crucial role in attracting foreign investments.
In response, the Omani representatives presented the national economic programs aligned with Oman Vision 2040, focusing on key sectors that the country aims to develop.
Both sides reiterated the necessity of advancing their bilateral relations.
The meeting was also attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of Singapore’s embassy in Oman, along with several officials from both nations.
