Barcelona Reach Quarterfinals Of Champions League With 3-1 Win Over Benfica

Barcelona secured their place in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League with a 3-1 victory over Benfica, thanks to two goals from Raphinha and one from Lamine Yamal.

With an aggregate score of 4-1, following their 1-0 win last week, the Catalan team will face either Borussia Dortmund or Lille in the next round, as reported by the Spanish newspaper MARCA.

Raphinha's two goals have positioned him as the top scorer in this season's Champions League, with a total of 11 goals. He was also responsible for the only goal in last week's match in Lisbon.

The Brazilian forward opened the scoring in the 10th minute, assisted Yamal's goal in the 27th minute, and then netted his second in the 42nd minute.

Benfica's Nicolás Otamendi found the net in the 13th minute, making him the third-oldest player to score in a Champions League knockout match at 37 years and 27 days, according to UEFA. Meanwhile, Yamal's goal made him the second-youngest scorer in the competition's history at 17 years and 241 days.
