Muscat: The Ahd Foundation has extended its financial assistance to the Fak-Kurbah humanitarian initiative, which is currently in its 20th edition in 2025. Sponsored by the Omani Lawyers Association, the Fak-Kurbah initiative aims to facilitate the release of individuals facing insolvency across all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
This initiative provides support to those detained due to civil, commercial, legal, or labor-related issues, promoting values of solidarity and cooperation within the community. It fosters partnerships and enhances the standards of social responsibility among various institutions. Since its inception in 2012, the Fak-Kurbah initiative has aided over 7,110 individuals in regaining their freedom.
Contributions to Fak-Kurbah can be made electronically via the initiative’s website “www.fakkrba.om,” through its designated bank account, or by using the “Thawani” application.
