Salalah: On Wednesday, the Ministry of Social Development in Dhofar Governorate hosted a community event called "A Nation Free from Drugs" to raise awareness about the risks of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
The goal was to inform the public about the dangers of drug misuse, its societal expenses, and the value of coordinated prevention while promoting health, social, and cultural awareness.
The event included a panel discussion titled "A Nation Free from Drugs," in which specialists examined the social effects of addiction as well as prevention and treatment methods.
