Muscat: Wizz Air Holdings PLC ("Wizz Air") today announced a major restructure, strengthening the company's fundamental strength with a focus on Central, Eastern Europe, and certain Western European markets.
This conclusion comes after a thorough evaluation of market dynamics, operational issues, and geopolitical developments in the Middle East. "As a result of the suspension of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi operations as part of this strategic realignment, Wizz Air will suspend all local flight operations effective September 1, 2025, and intends to exit from the joint venture going forward to focus on its core markets," the airline stated on Monday.
