Al Buraimi: Wasit Village stands as a principal settlement within the Wadi Al Jizzi region, situated within the Al Buraimi wilayat.

This village serves as the eastern entrance to the Al Buraimi wilayat, positioned approximately 50 kilometers from the wilayat's central hub.

The village boasts tourism potential, owing to its distinctive topography and rich heritage elements. These include agricultural lands abundant in date palm trees and crops, alongside natural landscapes that draw in visitors.

The serene rural setting has positioned the village as a favored retreat for those who appreciate the tranquility of the countryside.

Sulaiman bin Ali Al Shamsi, a resident of Wasit village, has noted that the village is situated in an agricultural zone, renowned for its date palm cultivation. This not only supports the local economy but also fulfills the community's date consumption requirements.

Furthermore, the village is celebrated for its agricultural produce and animal feed, with the Falaj Wasit area playing a crucial role in the irrigation of farm crops, as mentioned.

Humaid bin Rashed Al Zaidi, the Director of the Heritage and Tourism Department in Al Buraimi Governorate, has highlighted that the village is home to the Wasit heritage site, which dates back to the second century BC. This site is distinguished by its unique heritage artifacts, including stone tools, bronze arrowheads, and bronze swords, among others. He also mentioned that the village is divided into five distinct neighborhoods.
