Muscat: In a tragic incident, the Civic Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) reported that two individuals lost their lives as a result of a truck accident that also caused the release of a highly toxic chemical substance, Triethylene Glycol (TEG). This hazardous material incident occurred in the Wilayat of Adam, located within the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
The CDAA issued the following statement: "Rescue and ambulance teams, in collaboration with specialists trained in handling hazardous material incidents, were dispatched to the scene of the accident where a spillage of Triethylene Glycol (TEG) was reported. These teams managed to successfully mitigate the leak. Regrettably, the incident resulted in the fatality of two individuals."
