Muscat: Three individuals have been apprehended by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for their illegal attempt to enter the Sultanate of Oman and for smuggling a significant amount of narcotics by boat.
In a statement, ROP mentioned, "The Coast Guard Police in Dhofar Governorate detained three Yemeni nationals who were trying to illegally cross into the country while smuggling a substantial quantity of narcotics on a vessel coming from the Republic of Yemen. Procedures are being finalized. "
