Ibra: On Tuesday, Ibra hosted a specialised awareness session on the promotional campaign for the Incentive Programme and the Promising Startups Index.
The Muscat Stock Exchange, together with the National Programme for Fiscal Sustainability and Financial Sector Development Estidama, organised the event in conjunction with the North Al Sharqiyah branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The session emphasized the goals of the Incentive Programme and the Promising Startups Index, with a focus on major incentives for closed and family-owned enterprises, as well as regulatory and technical standards. It also unveiled program components aimed at assisting firms in transitioning to Muscat Stock Exchange listed status.
Furthermore, the session described the incentive program's three major pathways: transformation to Public Joint Stock Companies, launch of the Promising Startups Index, and conversion to Closed Joint Stock Companies.
The awareness session aimed to improve entrepreneurs' and investors' investment literacy about the Promising Startups Index, promote integration among financial institutions, boost SME participation in capital markets, and encourage companies to adopt new management and financing techniques.
