His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, the esteemed President of the Omani Promising Startups Programme, oversaw the progress made during the collaborative workshop between the Supervisory Committee and the Technical Committee of the program.
The primary objective of the workshop was to ensure coherence among government entities regarding innovation-driven Omani startups. Various topics were discussed, including the analytical studies on the Omani startups system conducted by Startup Genome Firm. The workshop also delved into the proposed initiatives based on the study's outcomes. Additionally, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology presented the heat map of the startups system for review.
The workshop was attended by several ministers, undersecretaries, members of the supervisory and technical committees, as well as representatives from government departments and startups.
