Sayyid Badr Receives Yemeni Minister Of Foreign Affairs And Expatriates

Muscat: On Wednesday, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, welcomed Dr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen.

During their discussions, both officials emphasized the strong fraternal ties that exist between Oman and Yemen. They expressed a mutual commitment to enhancing collaboration across various sectors that benefit their shared interests.

The ministers also shared perspectives on a range of regional and international issues of common concern, particularly the ongoing Yemeni crises and the initiatives aimed at fostering peace and stability in Yemen.

Sayyid Badr reaffirmed Oman’s unwavering support for peaceful endeavors in Yemen, highlighting the significance of dialogue and negotiations in achieving lasting solutions and alleviating the humanitarian plight of the Yemeni population.

In response, the Yemeni minister conveyed his gratitude for Oman’s efforts in promoting stability in Yemen and its ongoing assistance to the Yemeni people. He praised Oman’s constructive role in bridging differences among Yemeni factions and supporting both international and regional peace initiatives.

The meeting included several officials from both nations.
