Muscat: The Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) Main Military Committee for Management of Emergencies (MCME) has unequivocally declared its preparedness to address the challenging weather conditions impacting the Sultanate of Oman.
The MCME convened a recent meeting to review the most recent weather updates. This meeting was presided over by Brigadier Hamid Abdullah Al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, and Chairman of the MCME.
During the course of the meeting, the committee examined all actions implemented following the announcement of the prevailing weather conditions. Sub-committees of the MCME were activated across Oman's governorates anticipated to be affected by the weather conditions.
