Muscat: Today, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’maini, the Minister of the Royal Office, welcomed David Lammy, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs from the United Kingdom, along with his delegation, at his office.
Al Nu’maini discussed the existing bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them for mutual benefit.
In response, the guest conveyed his sincere gratitude for Oman's diplomatic initiatives aimed at bridging the differences among various parties concerning several regional and international matters.
This meeting also included the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Oman.
Additionally, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’maini today met with Gen. Michael E. Kurilla, the Commander of the Central Command of the United States.
The two parties examined opportunities to improve bilateral cooperation to boost the security of both nations. They also highlighted the significance of the historical ties between Oman and the United States.
