RAO Hosts Oman-Pakistan Military Drill 'Mountain Lynx'

Al Jabal Al Akhdar: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) in collaboration with units from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan recently conducted a practical demonstration of the joint drill, "Mountain Lynx 1," marking a significant milestone in the bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

This event took place under the esteemed leadership of Maj. Gen. Mattar Salim Al Balushi, who serves as the Commander of the Royal Army of Oman.

The demonstration showcased the participating units' proficiency in executing their roles seamlessly and adhering to the meticulously planned objectives and training agendas.

Military exercises are an integral component of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) annual training plans and programs.

The practical demonstration was graced by the presence of several senior officers from the SAF and the army of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Additionally, it was attended by the military attaché of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat and a number of personnel from the Royal Army of Oman.
