Sohar: Today, the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) successfully conducted a practical demonstration of the Mobilization Exercise Shams 34.
This demonstration was a comprehensive showcase that united participants from various courses, including Basic Officer Candidate courses, the University Officer Course, and the Limited Service Course.
The event took place within the training zone of the North Al Batinah Governorate, under the esteemed leadership of Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, the Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).
Before the commencement of the demonstration, the chief guest and all attendees were briefed on the various stages of the exercise and the specific training objectives designed to be met.
The purpose of Mobilization Exercise Shams 34 was to equip candidate officers with the necessary military knowledge and skills to fulfill mobilization tasks they may be assigned upon graduation, encompassing both individual and collective leadership abilities and strategic planning.
The demonstration was graced by senior officers from the Royal Air Force of Oman.
