Satisfaction stands as a paramount concern for Ooredoo's operations within Oman, serving as a critical strategy that has been instrumental in fostering value and meaningful relationships with its clientele, as the Chief Executive Officer, Bassam Yousef Al Ibrahim, elucidated in a confidential interview with the Times of Oman.
Al Ibrahim, the CEO of Ooredoo Oman, emphasized the importance of prioritizing customer needs, a principle that has guided the company's approach.
"We meticulously evaluate how we can innovate to precisely meet our customers' desires. By engaging in active dialogue and genuinely listening to our customers, we distinguish ourselves from our competitors, offering competitive products and services that ensure customer connectivity in a manner that is flexible and customized to their specific needs," Mr. Al Ibrahim elaborated.
He further stated that his motivation is rooted in the pursuit of customer-centric solutions, aiming to genuinely delight customers.
"In the contemporary era of telecommunications services, the provision of value-added solutions is of paramount importance to us. This approach enables us to maintain a competitive edge," the CEO remarked.
He acknowledged that competition poses a constant challenge in a market where six other telecommunications companies are vying for the same clientele.
"In Oman, the telecommunications sector is highly competitive and somewhat saturated, necessitating a balance between competitiveness and maintaining value for our customers. We have assembled a dynamic and committed team that navigates the challenges presented by this market, allowing us to stay one step ahead," Mr. Al Ibrahim added.
Furthermore, Ooredoo places a high priority on supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
"SMEs represent a unique market segment, and we have established a dedicated division within our business to cater to their needs. This ensures that we deliver services that are not only unique and specific but also scalable, enabling these businesses to grow and adapt as their needs evolve," Mr. Al Ibrahim highlighted.
In the corporate sphere, Ooredoo is also dedicating significant resources to the advancement of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
"SMEs are a crucial driver of the economy, constituting a significant portion of the future growth and development as outlined in Vision 2040," Mr. Al Ibrahim pointed out.
Looking ahead to the forthcoming five years, the company is placing a strong emphasis on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its operations.
"AI is currently transforming communities across various learning levels, from young children to senior business executives. We are collaborating with colleges and universities to incorporate both soft and technical skills into their curricula, thereby equipping students with the necessary skills to face future technological challenges," Mr. Al Ibrahim concluded.
