Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has apprehended an individual for the possession of over 30 kilograms of hashish within the South Al Batinah Governorate.
In a formal announcement, the ROP stated, "The Department for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, under the leadership of the South Al Batinah Police, has successfully apprehended an individual found in possession of more than 30 kilograms of hashish. Legal proceedings are currently underway against the individual."
Additionally, in a separate incident, the North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has taken action against three individuals for the theft of money and mobile phones from a residence in Sohar. Legal proceedings are also in progress against these individuals.
