Muscat: Today, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, had a phone conversation with Dr. Riyadh Al Maliki, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the State of Palestine.
During their discussion, the two ministers talked about the current situation and ongoing developments in the Palestinian arena, particularly the dire conditions in the Gaza Strip, which are a direct result of Israel's occupation of Palestine and its aggressive actions.
Sayyid Badr emphasized the importance of uniting all Palestinian forces and parties to address the common challenges and work towards the best interests of an independent Palestinian state.
In the meantime, Dr. Riyadh Al Maliki expressed the Palestinian side's gratitude for the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman in supporting the Palestinian cause through political and legal means. He also commended Oman's appeal to the International Court of Justice, condemning Israeli practices that violate human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories.
