Muscat: Oman has strongly condemned Israel's attacks on the Syrian Arab Republic, which violate its national sovereignty and are a clear breach of international law.
Oman reaffirms its urgent plea to the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities by ensuring Israel's complete withdrawal from the occupied Syrian territories, halting all hostile actions that endanger civilian lives, and implementing a comprehensive political solution in accordance with UN Resolution 2254, which aims to restore stability in Syria through a Syrian-led transitional process.
In a statement from the Foreign Ministry, Oman reiterated its full support for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its solidarity with the Syrian people. It urged the international community to redouble its efforts to protect civilians and relieve their suffering by delivering essential humanitarian assistance.
