Davos: The pavilion of the Sultanate of Oman at the World Economic Forum (WEF), currently taking place in Davos, Switzerland, was inaugurated on Monday, attended by representatives from various countries, institutions, international dignitaries, and Oman's delegation to the WEF.
During the opening ceremony, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy and head of Oman's delegation, emphasized that the Sultanate's involvement in the WEF signifies its proactive stance in fostering international collaboration and its dedication to developing sustainable solutions for global challenges, ultimately driving sustainable growth.
Al Saqri highlighted that the pavilion's inauguration underscores the strengthening ties between the Government of Oman and the World Economic Forum.
He noted that this partnership plays a crucial role in promoting innovative strategies for sustainable development and provides a platform to showcase Oman’s economic vision and developmental achievements.
The first day of the WEF attracted a notable number of investors to Oman’s pavilion, facilitating a series of meetings among a select group of investors and prominent global companies.
