Baku: Oman News Agency (ONA) attended the third edition of the Shusha Global Media Forum, which took place in Shusha, Republic of Azerbaijan.
The symposium seeks to improve international media collaboration while also addressing current issues facing the media in the face of quick technological advancements. It also aims to investigate the potential of digital transformation and methods for combating falsehoods while improving media trust.
Forum sessions also covered topics such as press freedom, the development of artificial intelligence in newsrooms, and the role of media in bridging cultural divides among people. The event promotes knowledge exchange among various global media organizations.
Approximately 140 media professionals and specialists from 52 nations will attend the conference. This includes delegates from over 30 news outlets, seven international organisations, and approximately 80 media institutions, as well as Azerbaijani media authorities and representatives.
