Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a decree to announce a period of official mourning, with flags lowered and work suspended in both the government and private sectors for a duration of 3 days, commencing today, Saturday, December 16, in honor of the passing of Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jabar al Sabah, the Emir of the State of Kuwait.
Normal work operations will resume on December 19.
