Muscat: The twentieth session of the Board of Directors for the Regional Air Traffic Monitoring Agency (RATMA) in the Middle East commenced today in Muscat.
This two-day gathering is organized by the Sultanate of Oman, with representation from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in collaboration with the Regional Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the RATMA. Attendees include representatives from the International Air Transport Association and the Federal Aviation Administration.
The agenda for the meeting will address the outcomes of the previous session of the RATMA board, as well as the recommendations and decisions from the twenty-first session of the Middle East Air Navigation Planning and Implementation Regional Group.
Additionally, the meeting will examine the performance of air navigation within the Middle East region and analyze data related to a program aimed at reducing vertical separation between aircraft and enhancing safety at the horizontal levels of aircraft flight.
