Muscat: The InnoXera Global Summit Oman 2025 took place in Muscat on Monday, centered around the theme “Beyond the Screen: Expanding the Boundaries of Learning.”
This summit aims to foster a knowledge-based society that can adapt to the rapid advancements in global technology.
Organizers presented Oman’s e-learning platform initiative, followed by a showcase of Intel's innovative skills program.
The event also featured the announcement of the results for the “Innovative Teacher 2024” competition. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Classera, a global leader in smart learning solutions, and Intel Corporation, recognizes educators who effectively utilize technology to create engaging and innovative teaching models.
The competition highlighted exemplary models that demonstrate how technology can significantly enhance learning experiences.
Additionally, a project named “Noor,” an integrated e-learning system, was launched through a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Classera. This initiative aims to deliver a cutting-edge educational experience to over 700,000 students and teachers in Oman, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), adaptive learning, and other advanced technologies.
During the summit, a platform called “Tamkeen” was introduced, resulting from a collaboration between Omantel, Classera, and Almentor. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and promote the Arabic language as a vital medium for knowledge transfer and future development. The project is designed to provide Arabic speakers with access to high-quality educational and training resources across various fields.
The opening ceremony took place with the support of Dr. Abdullah Khamis Ambusaidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education, and was attended by representatives from various government agencies and private sector organizations.
The "InnoXera Global Summit Oman 2025" marks a groundbreaking global event, being hosted in Oman for the first time. It serves as a platform for collaboration aimed at advancing smart education and empowering future generations to realize their ambitions, in alignment with Oman’s Vision 2040.
