Muscat: The Oman Customs have successfully intercepted a plot to introduce 2.07 kilograms of marijuana into the Sultanate of Oman.
An official announcement published on the Oman Customs' official website reported: "The General Administration of Customs has successfully prevented the smuggling of 2.07 kilograms of marijuana, concealed within a postal parcel. The appropriate legal actions are presently underway."
Additionally, in a separate incident, the North Al Batinah Police Command has apprehended five foreign nationals for the theft of batteries from various vehicles and trucks owned by a corporation.
The legal proceedings against these individuals are currently in progress.
