Baku: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) underscored the strategies for augmenting economic, investment, and trade collaboration between the private sectors of Oman and Azerbaijan.
This discussion occurred in Baku as part of OCCI's involvement in the 2nd GCC-Azerbaijan Economic Forum, which is hosted by the Federation of GCC Chambers.
The forum commenced with a tour of the Alat Free Economic Zone in Baku, Azerbaijan. During this visit, the business environment within the zone was assessed, alongside the amenities provided to investors.
Moreover, the GCC-Azerbaijan forum is scheduled to deliberate on a variety of subjects related to collaborative efforts in renewable and clean energy, water, and electricity sectors. It will also address the challenges and opportunities present in the transport and logistics services sectors, as well as strategic alliances between GCC nations and Azerbaijan in the agricultural, food security, and food industries sectors.
In addition to the forum, several business-to-business meetings will take place on the sidelines.
