Muscat: Nissan has announced the establishment of a partnership with Al Hashar Automotive, a subsidiary of the Al Hashar Group, as its sole authorized official distributor within the Sultanate of Oman. This strategic move is a significant step in Nissan's ambition to expand its presence in the Middle East. The collaboration aims to deliver Nissan's innovative customer experience to a diverse audience through a network of cutting-edge 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) facilities nationwide. It is anticipated that Al Hashar Automotive will commence operations in the early part of September.
The formalization of this partnership was marked by an inauguration ceremony, which took place earlier in the year at Nissan's headquarters in Dubai. The event was graced by key executives from both entities, including Thierry Sabbagh, the Divisional Vice President and President of the Middle East, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as INFINITI, and Sheikh Al-Muhannad Al Hashar, the Chairman of the Al Hashar Group.
This collaboration is founded on a shared vision of mutual trust and values, heralding the beginning of a new era in Oman. It is set to deliver advanced mobility solutions to Omani customers.

It will see the establishment of five state-of-the-art 3S facilities in the initial phase, strategically located in key cities such as Muscat, Sohar, Salalah, Sur, and Ibri. Customers will have access to a wide selection of vehicles, including the renowned Patrol and X-Trail SUVs; passenger cars like the technologically advanced Altima; sports cars, including the iconic Nissan Z; and commercial vehicles, such as the Urvan. This initiative is further supported by the opening of a Certified Pre-Owned showroom in Muscat, aimed at expanding the variety of offerings and serving value-conscious customers.
Embarking on a journey of memorable ownership, Nissan and Al Hashar Automotive are adopting digital strategies to deliver an integrated experience through both online and offline platforms. Through the introduction of Nissan's pioneering Shop@Home service, customers are afforded the luxury of exploring virtual showrooms, experiencing test drives, and securing vehicle financing, among other essential services, all from the convenience of their residences or workplaces.
