Muscat: The National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) has refuted claims that vehicles have been reported to have sunk in the Wilayat of Sur, attributed to the prevailing weather conditions (Al-Sayyal) currently experienced by the Sultanate of Oman.
In a statement, the NCEM clarified: "The video that has been shared, suggesting vehicles have submerged in the Wilayat of Sur, is, in fact, inaccurate. This video pertains to a weather condition that occurred in the past. We urge all individuals to ensure the accuracy of information before disseminating it."
