Muscat: The introduction of the National Platform for Suggestions, Complaints, and Reports (Tajawob) marks a significant advancement in enhancing community engagement, facilitating effective communication, and improving the business climate.
In its initial phase, the Tajawob Platform incorporates over 55 government entities, with plans for additional establishments to join in the future.
This platform serves as a centralized system featuring various channels for receiving suggestions, complaints, reports, and inquiries related to government services.
Experts have emphasized the platform's critical role in fostering community involvement.
It allows citizens, residents, and private sector companies to actively participate in the enhancement of government services by submitting their feedback, complaints, and suggestions.
Furthermore, they noted that the platform would facilitate the collection of public opinions, thereby improving the government's responsiveness to community concerns.
The establishment of this platform empowers citizens and beneficiaries to voice their opinions and submit suggestions and complaints, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of government performance.
Dr. Amal Talib Al Jahwari, the Director of the Information Department at Majlis Al Shura, emphasized that the introduction of the National Platform for Suggestions, Complaints, and Reports marks a significant advancement in fostering community engagement, aligning with the Royal Orders of His Majesty the Sultan to establish a dedicated platform for receiving feedback aimed at improving communication between citizens and government entities.
Mubarak bin Khamis Al Hamadani, a social researcher, noted that this platform signifies a transformative development in the operations of the government in the Sultanate of Oman.
Rashid bin Abdullah Al Shizani, a researcher and public affairs analyst, stated that the platform will facilitate better communication between the government and community members, ensuring prompt responses to the suggestions, complaints, and reports they submit.
He added that the platform will promote a culture of constructive feedback and reporting.
Additionally, the platform will incorporate artificial intelligence to enhance user experience.
In parallel, central and executive teams have been established within government departments to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives. The platform was launched during the third edition of the “Together We Progress” Forum, aimed at improving the efficiency of government services.
