MUSCAT: In the spirit of Ramadan, Lulu Oman has introduced its ‘Convoy of Goodness’ initiative, underscoring its dedication to community support and the promotion of kindness. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Lulu is distributing grocery kits to families in need, ensuring that the values of sharing and caring are honored during this sacred month.
This charitable effort is made possible through a partnership with the Etruk Bassma volunteer team, which has united efforts to reach some of the most isolated communities throughout Oman. The Convoy of Goodness has journeyed through key governorates, including the remote areas of Khasab, Sohar, Qurayyat, Al Mudaybi, and Salalah, delivering essential food supplies to over 1,000 families. Each kit has been thoughtfully assembled to provide necessary groceries, allowing families to observe Ramadan with comfort and dignity.
Mr. Shabeer K.A., Director – Oman, spoke about the initiative, emphasizing the significance of giving back during this blessed period. “Ramadan is a time for reflection, generosity, and community spirit. Through the Convoy of Goodness, we aim to lend a helping hand to those in need, ensuring that no one is overlooked during this special month. Our collaboration with Etruk Bassma has allowed us to reach more families and truly embody the values of compassion and unity.”
Lulu Oman remains committed to initiatives that promote positive change within the community. By launching the Convoy of Goodness, the brand continues to highlight the importance of charity, solidarity, and the spirit of giving—core values that capture the essence of Ramadan. As the campaign concludes its journey, Lulu extends its sincere gratitude to volunteers, partners, and all who contributed to this initiative, reaffirming its commitment to serving communities and fostering kindness.
