India Beat Bangladesh By Seven Wickets In 2nd Test

KANPUR, INDIA - India emerged victorious against Bangladesh, securing a thrilling win by seven wickets in the second Test at Kanpur on Tuesday, clinching a 2-0 series sweep. The bowling quartet of Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja each took three wickets, leading India to bowl out Bangladesh for 146. In response, India successfully defended a target of 95 runs, with Yashasvi Jaiswal contributing significantly by scoring his second half-century of the match.

This triumph is poised to be remembered as one of India's most remarkable, as it was achieved in just two and a half days – a remarkable feat considering the match was interrupted by rain, which threatened to cost the home team six crucial points in the World Test Championship cycle. Despite facing the loss of an entire day to rain and another to Kanpur's challenging wet outfield, India demonstrated exceptional resilience, ultimately securing a result less than 48 hours after the match was initially postponed.
